Useful cloud capacity needs both a place to run and a network path that fits the workload. Expanding one does not guarantee the other is ready on the same date.

CoreWeave said on October 27 that the majority of its planned 22.5 MW of IT capacity at atNorth’s DEN01 facility in Copenhagen was online. It separately outlined new network points of presence starting later in the fourth quarter and a full loop by mid-2027. The release describes a heat-reuse agreement and Blackwell-based systems at DEN01. Those are vendor disclosures, not independent measures of customer throughput. Capacity needs a service boundary

The distinction between most of the plan and the complete plan matters to customers negotiating reservations. The release does not identify a workload-specific quota, delivery date or sustained usable capacity for an individual customer. Those need confirmation through the service arrangement.

Network expansion can make more locations reachable, but it cannot make data movement free of cost or delay. Dataset size, transfer windows and the frequency of communication between regions determine whether a workload benefits from a new point of presence.

Track the facility and network separately

Our assessment is that the Denmark addition is a more concrete capacity milestone than a future network footprint. Both may ultimately matter to a customer, but on different timelines. Watch for the remaining commissioning work, reservable services and operational network measurements. Those would show whether the new location is a practical destination for a particular workload rather than simply another site on a map.
