Advanced Energy reported $256.2 million of third-quarter data-centre computing revenue on November 2, compared with $171.6 million a year earlier and $191.5 million in the preceding quarter. Total revenue reached $696.4 million across its markets.
The quarter records delivered business
The power-conversion supplier said its Thailand factory ramp remained on track and that it expected growing revenue contributions from new products in 2027. The quarter’s sales provide evidence of current demand, while those manufacturing and product plans describe future contributions.
Manufacturing capacity supports the ramp
Power conversion is part of delivering usable electricity to computing equipment. Capacity, efficiency, heat and serviceability need to be evaluated within the complete rack and facility architecture.
Product performance requires system measurements
Subsequent production ramps and customer qualifications will show how the supplier supports further demand. Representative system measurements remain necessary to connect product adoption with operating efficiency in a particular data centre.
